One Piece: Buggy Becomes the New Yonko?

As we know, two Yonko ended up losing the big battle at Wano. The two Yonko in question are Big Mom and Kaido, the two strongest Yonko figures. The defeat of the two Yonko, of course, really shook everyone.

As many fans have speculated before, it is very likely that the news of Kaido's defeat and also Big Mom's will spread throughout the world in a short time. And the Gorosei themselves are aware of this, as we saw in the previous chapter. As it turned out, it was proven where Apoo and Inbi later came up with a newspaper that provided great information.

Although there is no official confirmation, Apoo is the person who most likely leaked all the information that happened in Wano. According to Apoo, there is a figure who will replace the two defeated Yonko. For the first candidate, none other than the figure who will become a Yonko is Monkey D. Luffy. However, there is an interesting speculation where another person might fill the position. Another figure who will fill the vacant Yonko position is Buggy. Why Buggy? Shouldn't the Yonko also be one of Law and Kid? The Morgan newspaper probably won't consider the two as Luffy's partners, but his subordinates.

They might consider Kaido's and Big Mom's defeat as proof of Luffy's awesomeness. Meanwhile, Kid and Law are just people who "help" Luffy to win. Geeks might ask, then how did Buggy become a Yonko? What made him a Yonko?

Why Buggy Became a Yonko in One Piece

There are several reasons why then Buggy had a chance to become a Yonko, based on the speculation circulating.

All of these things finally reached the ears of the World Government after he escaped from Impel Down. On the other hand, this also made Buggy a Shichibukai.

2. The defeat and also the fall of the underground world in Dressrosa occurred after Doflamingo's defeat. The figure of the ruler of Dressrosa finally lost after Luffy came and then helped free the country. Dofy's absence makes criminals or the underground world lose their way. Buggy and his men then filled the void, which later became one of the influential figures there.

3. Buggy has no less influence than Luffy. After the defeat of Kaido and Big Mom from Luffy, it means that there will be an empty space or 'gap'. As was the case in Dressrosa, Luffy will get one vacancy, and Buggy will fill another void thanks to his immense influence.
