This is the reason Shanks is after One Piece?

Shanks figure announces that now is the time to claim or retrieve One Piece.  What does Shanks mean?  Does that mean Shanks will get the treasure first than Luffy?  Shanks is a very mysterious character.  Very rarely does he appear in the various stories that exist.

This also gave rise to a lot of speculation and theory among fans.  There are countless theories and speculations related to the figure of Shanks.  Most recently there has been speculation about Shanks' main purpose in claiming One Piece.  As we know, in chapter 1054 yesterday Shanks arrived at Wano.  Even so, his appearance was not to meet Luffy.

What's interesting is how Shanks later told Benn Beckman that now was the time to claim One Piece.  Then, what is the meaning of Shanks' words?  In his speculation, Shanks might be looking for One Piece which is Uranus.  Then, he would give it to Luffy.  So that Roger's main mission which has been delayed can finally be completed.


Various Clues Available

There are several clues that support the above speculation.  First, Shanks promised Buggy that they would go to Laugh Tale in their own ship.  However, the fact is, after a few years we haven't seen them head to Laugh Tale or get a Road Poneglyph.  Shanks seemed to delay doing this for the sake of waiting or waiting for someone.

Second, while on the fish-man island, Oden and Roger overheard the conversation of the two Sea Kings about the birth of the two awaited figures.  The first is the figure of Shirahoshi, who is Poseidon.  And the second possibility is Joy Boy, which figure is none other than Monkey D. Luffy.  Third, it took Roger 14 years to reach Lodestar Island.

However, Luffy himself is now starting to approach the gates of Laugh Tale.  Luffy's journey to Laugh Tale is considered too "comfortable" as if without a hitch.  Why is Oden's last wish to open the Wano border?  Why is Rayleigh willing to swim so far just to train Luffy?  Why only now did Shanks decide to get One Piece?

After reaching the island of Laugh Tale, Roger learns about the secrets of the world.  He also realized that he was not Joy Boy.  They came or appeared on the island too soon.  However, because Roger realized that his life would not be long, he also tried to be sure that the figure of Joy Boy would be able to appear in the future.

Roger helped Luffy and the Straw Hats to realize their dreams in a short time indirectly.  How to?  After returning from Laugh Tale, Roger gives his crew the final orders to build a path for the next Joy Boy.  Here are the Instructions.  First, he ordered Shanks to find a new Joy Boy and also other things to prepare a new Joy Boy.

Roger orders Kozuki Oden to open the Wano border so that Joy Boy can reach Pluton.  Rayleigh has a duty to guard the New World region and make sure Joy Boy becomes a very strong figure to face his task.  And Roger himself has the final task of inspiring the next Joy Boy.  In other words, creating a new era.


Conclusion

Based on the explanation above, what Shanks said in chapter 1054 about now is the time to claim One Piece is because the wait is over.  He had found a new Joy Boy, who would continue what Roger couldn't.  Before Shanks said that, he saw Luffy's wanted poster.  That moment seemed to give Shanks an idea that Luffy was indeed a Joy Boy figure and he had reappeared.
