Blackbeard's Reason for Recruiting Gecko Moria as His Crew Revealed, Teach Wants to Steal Kaido's Shadow

Not long ago Road to Laugh Tale Booklet volume 2 revealed that the Blackbeard pirates consisted of 11 people.

One of the 11 people's identity is still kept secret and a mystery.

However, from the circulating theory, it is strongly suspected that one new member of the Blackbeard Pirates is Gecko Moria.

There are several facts that support this theory.

Blackbeard had expressed his desire to recruit Gecko Moria.

This moment occurred when Gecko Moria came to Blackbeard's headquarters to save Absalom.

This is a sign that there is a great desire in Blackbeard to recruit Gecko Moria.

Blackbeard also didn't seem to want to steal Gecko Moria's Kage Kage no Mi devil fruit.

Because Blackbeard already has the two strongest devil fruits of his type, namely the Yami Yami no Mi and the Gura Gura no Mi.

Blackbeard needed Gecko Moria on his side to increase the power of his pirates.

Interestingly, Gecko Moria can steal someone's shadow.

It could be that Blackbeard was eyeing the strongest shadow to be inserted into his body. 

One of them is the shadow of the strongest being, Kaido.

This is very possible considering Blackbeard is very thirsty for power.

Do you remember when Gecko Moria used the Shadow Ashgard technique which allowed him to absorb 1,000 shadows.

Gecko Moria instantly gains many times the strength and body size increases instantly.
