One Piece Storyline Has an Official Name!

With a very large community, the One Piece series presents many interesting and extraordinary things that fans create.  Examples are various theories as well as interesting speculations that predict the upcoming storyline.  In addition, fans often share stories that appear in a term we know as 'arc' or 'saga.'

Basically, the arc is an ongoing storyline.  One arc usually consists of several chapters, although it is possible that it also consists of dozens of chapters.  Meanwhile, the saga itself is a big story consisting of several arcs.  For example, stories about Big Mom and Kaido are currently part of the Yonko Saga.

The terms arc and saga itself are actually made up by fans, because the series does not introduce the official name.  Even so, ahead of the 25th anniversary of the One Piece series on July 22, One Piece has a new website.  The site contains various information related to various events or other matters.

However, the important point is that the website is also now releasing information where the entire One Piece story is divided into 12 Saga.  Starting from the East Blue Saga, where Luffy gathered the entire Straw Hat crew, to the most recent one is the Wano Country Saga.  So far, Wano Country Saga is the longest storyline in the series.  On the other hand, this is a "clarification" from the official side.

So far, fans have concluded that the Whole Cake Island arc, Zou, and Wano are part of one saga, the Yonko Saga.  However, with the release of official information about the One Piece saga, it means that now there is no longer any confusion among fans regarding the storyline in the One Piece series.

The Last Saga

Then, what about the final saga?  Eiichiro Oda is currently on vacation to prepare for the final storyline in the series.  And according to his own information, this last saga will start in chapter 1054.  With the information from the official website, a big question arises.  Does this mean that this final saga is also part of the Wano Country Saga?

As we know, the Wano storyline doesn't seem to be finished anytime soon.  Kaido and Big Mom and Orochi have succeeded in defeating Luffy and his alliance.  Wano are currently partying and celebrating their victory and freedom.  However, in chapter 1053 itself, we saw that another threat appeared to Wano, namely the presence of an admiral Green Bull.

Based on what appears on the official website, where Wano Country Saga is still running until now, maybe Wano Country Saga is the last saga before we actually enter the final storyline.  Because of that, the Wano storyline is still not finished.  Besides that, maybe this is also the reason why Oda said that Wano is the biggest and most important storyline in the series.

For now, everything is still unclear because Oda is still enjoying his vacation.  Even so, Oda must have prepared everything well.  Regardless of whether this final saga will be a part of the Wano Country Saga or not, it is certain that fans can't wait to follow the story soon.  They can't wait to see the end of Luffy and the Straw Hat crew's journey after more than 20 years.
